Alexandru Preiss

Bio:

An award-winning illustrator, photographer and graphic designer, Alex
uses digital photo collage to express his original thinking and unique
vision. His work has been featured in publications as diverse as Clean
Run, Hana Hou (Hawaiian Airlines in-flight magazine), Honolulu
Magazine, and HMSA's Island Scene. His company, Kennedy & Preiss
Graphic Design, in Honolulu, Hawaii is well known for their
problem-solving abilities, specializing in the design and production of
brochures, booklets, annual reports, logos, advertising, and other
print materials. Clients include educational, health care, arts and
humanities organizations, utilities, corporate communications, and real
estate development and management companies. Kennedy & Preiss has
earned over 90 local, regional, national and international professional
awards. Alex has exhibited art in many media, including drawing,
painting, sculpture, photography and digital photo collage. Since 2000,
he has had four one-man shows of his photo collages in Hawai‘i at the
Canon Photo Gallery, The Academy Art Center at Linekona, Gallery on the
Pali, and the Hawai‘i Pacific University Gallery. Recently he was
featured in group shows at The Contemporary Café at The Contemporary
Museum, and Details Gallery. In 2006, Alex was one of the 241
distinguished artists from 49 countries featured in EXPOSÉ 4, a limited
edition book published by Ballistic Publishing, France, showcasing 317
digital artworks selected from over 5,000 submissions.
