Marvin and Me, documentation of performance piece (3 hours),
purple crushed velvet fabric, 2 channel sound piece, ambient sound and equipment,
two sets of headphones. Two stills, one with and one without participant.
For the duration of the reception, I dance in headphones to “What’s Goin’ On” by Marvin Gaye.
Ambient vocal and spoken word sounds played through speakers and permeated the space.
 Another set of headphones hang nearby with the same song. Viewers who participate can hear
what I am dancing to and dance along by wearing the other set of headphones.
