over 5,000 ink & wash artworks crumpled in paper balls and pieces of dismantled tepee were floated into the fountain of kitchener city hall as a symbolic
buddhist ritual (an offering, such that the tragic deaths' soul can be set free) to commemorate the 5,000+ coolies died in construction of the western
section of cp rail. the fountain was turned off initially as a 'moment of silence', it was turned-on again at 6 pm to symbolize 'rebirth'.
